In the name and remembrance of God Almighty and with the help of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT), especially our good sovereign Imam Zaman (Who God expedite his noble appearance) and also the regard of our master Imam Hussein (PBUH), who are the forerunners of the great phenomenon of Arbaeen and the flow of this heavenly light on the earth. The first day of the 7th congress of the Arbaeen of the Companions of Al-Hussein (as) with the theme of “Arbaeen and nation building; From self-improvement to civilization building”, was held, and would continue until 09/10/2020, till the end of the ceremony.

It should be noted that the Arbaeeni congresses of previous years, were held with the presence of scholars, professors and elites of seminaries, universities, institutions and various institutions of Iran and other friendly and neighboring countries, including Iraq, Lebanon and .. in Najaf and Karbala. Unfortunately, this year, due to the prevailing corona pandemic and the need to comply with health protocols, the situation is different, and the events would be held in different cultural and educational centers of different provinces of the country through cyber media, which will be online.

The inauguration started with the sincere cooperation of the relevant officials of Imamzadeh Saleh (as) shrine, and with the presence of a number of people involved in holding these congresses, including the general secretary of the Companions of Hussein (AS) Institute, Hojatol Islam Isfahanian, Scientific Secretary of the Institute, Dr. Seyed Habibaullah Tabatabayan; Dr. Seyyed Mohammad Fatemi, The art secretary, and the executive secretary, Mr. Masoumi and also, with the online presence of the other honorable scientific and art directors of various seminaries, universities, and other various scientific centers of other provinces of the country.

The ceremony consisted of three parts, which in the first part, the various secretaries of the Congress, namely the Secretary General, Scientific Secretary, Art Secretary and Executive Secretary under the chairmanship of the Secretary General, Mr. Hojjatoleslam Saeed Isfahanian discussed the various dimensions of the Congress as follows:

The Secretary General, Hojjat-ul-Islam Isfahanian, thanking God for the success of being able to attend again at the the sphere of guidance and salvation of our beloved Hussein(as), in this Arbaeen and to benefit from this heavenly Arbaeen occasion, referred to the expression of Amir Almomenin Ali(as): “There is no movement unless you need a knowledge of it”.

Today, given the complex and difficult global, regional and domestic conditions, we desperately need knowledge; Especially the knowledge of how to pass from the current situation to the divine future! And contemplating on the guiding light and the salvation ship of Hussain(AS), makes it easier for us to get through this difficult stage. He stated on this basis, from the beginning of the 2011 in the years 2011 and 2012, we tried to form a scientific procession at the level of elites and intellectuals, to organize the necessary discourse, with the aim of discovering the divine phenomenon of Arbaeen in order to increase the knowledge in the elite network. The four categories of discovery, knowledge, companionship and accompaniment have been considered by the Arbaeen epistemological and scientific headquarters during these years, and with this approach, they have entered the field of Arbaeen nation-building.

He also referred to the current situation of coronary pandemic conditions, which provided an opportunity for the expansion of academic and seminary collections, as well as valuable art collections, with over 20 specialized programs throughout the country in the week leading to the Arbaeen, focusing on the theme of “Arbaeen and Ummah building, which have been prepared to enter the second phase of the Islamic Revolution with a deeper understanding, God willing.

Then, the scientific secretary of the institute, Dr. Tabatabayan, explained the eight axes of the seventh congress of the covenant with Al-Hussein (as), which are as follows:
Axes of the call for Najaf Congress (scientific articles and presentations) include:
1- What is the Qur’anic and civilization life style in the contemporary world?
2- The Quranic Ummah and its civilization characteristics
3- The relationship of human societies with the world Ummah from the prospect of revelation and the words of the Infallible Imams(AS)
4- The phenomenon of globalization in the present stage and the world Ummah from the perspective of divine religions
5- The Ummi Imam from the Holy Quran point of view, and his role in the formation of the apocalyptic Ummah
The above axes are placed under the general title of “Ummi Imam and the world Ummah; From Arbaeen to the reappearance.

However, the main topics of the Karbala Congress (scientific articles and presentations), which are under the general title of “The Islamic Ummah and Our Duties”, are as follow:
1- Extremist and divisive behaviors in different Islamic sects (including Shiites and Sunnis) at the present time
2- Axis countries of resistance and Ummah; From formation to how to confront with the global arrogance
3- The issues of the Islamic Ummah in the contemporary world in view of strengthening the apocalyptic Ummah.
